Veilbreak: Astral Sea

This tear opens onto nothing at all, or that’s how it looks at first. Stare long enough and the dark turns blue, then starts to glitter. That’s the Astral Sea, the silver-lit space between the planes, where time stands still and the bodies of dead gods drift like islands.

Travellers who cross it are tied back to their bodies by a thin silver cord. Cut the cord and they never come home. The silver running along the edge of these dice is said to come from those cords. Nobody’s quite sure whose.
