What they actually find is ducks. Dozens of them, bobbing about and paying no attention to the skeletons on the shore.

Nobody knows how they got down there. The old delvers will tell you one thing, though. If you hear a single quack just before a big roll, hold your nerve, because the ducks have never been wrong.
